Recent dietary trends have led to concerns about our health. Excessive consumption of high Glycaemic Index (GI) foods like rice, maida, and sugar, coupled with trans fats and saturated fats, excess salt has contributed to various health issues including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

Balancing these components is crucial for a healthier diet. Here are 6 simple rules to guide:

Rule ❶ - Eat the right amount of calories.
Rule ❷ - Reduce high glycemic index ( GI) foods.
Rule ❸ - Cut down on trans fats.
Rule ❹ - Limit saturated fats..
Rule ❺ - Ensure adequate intake of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fibre.
Rule ❻ - Keep yourself hydrated
Rule ❼ - Avoid excess salt

By following these rules, you can make positive changes to your diet and improve your overall health.
